Shannon Lorimer joined S-RM’s Strategic Intelligence team as an analyst in 2023. She has worked on various threat assessment and monitoring projects, conducting analysis of various political and security issues, particularly in Latin America and North America. Prior to joining S-RM, Shannon interned at ZAM Magazine in Amsterdam and freelanced as a writer. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Rhodes University and a Master of Arts in Africa Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands, where she specialised in conflict and media studies.
