Luísa is a Senior Associate on S-RM’s Latin America team. She has worked on multiple investigations, including into high-profile entities and individuals involved in large-scale systemic corruption predominantly in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Venezuela, as well as human source investigations across Latin America. She is a native Portuguese and fluent Spanish speaker, with expertise in Latin Americas’ local media and regulatory environment and has played a leading role in several of the team’s investigations in the region. These include case managing and serving as lead researcher on investigations into AML and corruption concerns in the pharmaceutical, construction, and financial and banking sectors. Luísa holds an MSc in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from King’s College London, and formerly worked at a UK-based security and investigation consultancy, where she focused on reputational and due diligence projects in South America and East Africa.
