James Taylor is an Associate Director within S-RM’s Cyber Business Unit, leading the Red Team capability within the Offensive Security practice area. James is responsible for developing the capability and services the Red Team offers, as well as managing the delivery of high quality Red Team testing for our clients.
James joined S-RM in 2023 as an accomplished red team operator with a proven track record in scoping and delivering complex engagements. With over eight years of experience in various security-related roles, James has developed a comprehensive skillset covering source-code assisted penetration testing, automotive and IoT, external and internal infrastructure through to covert Red Team operations.
James is a certified Red Team operator (CRTO) and an experienced offensive security practitioner, with several certifications to reflect this (OSEP, OSWE, CCT APP, CRT). He also possesses certifications in related fields, such as information security management, cloud security and network intrusion analysis.
