Ana Pereu is an Associate Director in the Disputes and Investigations team. Prior to this, she was a Manager in the Forensic Investigations and Intelligence practice at the risk advisory firm Kroll, where she worked on complex internal investigations relating to employee misconduct, internal fraud, supplier and partner misconduct, as well as counterfeit investigations and other investigations requiring the collection and analysis of open-source and deep and dark web intelligence.
Prior to joining Kroll, Ana worked at the global cyber security and risk consultancy firm Stroz Friedberg (“Stroz”), which became part of Aon's Cyber Solutions (ACS) in 2016. At Stroz and ACS, Ana focused on a broad range of desktop investigations, from threat actor profiling and attribution, identity resolution and digital footprint assessments for Hight Net Worth Individuals to proactive cyber and reputational due diligence.
Ana has previously obtained her Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and CREST Certified Practitioner Threat Intelligence Analyst certifications and is also registered with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Ana holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University (Abu Dhabi) in two majors, Social Research and Public Policy and Political Science, and also has an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
